Listed companies, particularly small-caps, are often in a position where they require additional working capital to further develop or launch a key product or service, or make an acquisition, but have difficulty in raising funds due to adverse market conditions.
Our growth capital team specialises in PIPE transactions, providing vital capital to achieve specific value-enhancing milestones. We conduct due diligence as we were making a private equity investment, and can take a more active role post-investment to help management teams with business development and exit planning.
We tend to focus on companies which are in industries targeted by our Venture and Development Capital teams, so that we can leverage our in-house technical and commercial sector knowledge.
